Winery Notes:
This is our oldest label of Vino Nobile and the most representative of our work philosophy.
Since its first vintage in 1968, it has continued to represent almost half of our total production. Its composition and aging have remained largely unchanged and today we produce about 50,000 bottles yearly with this label.
Our approach to Vino Nobile remains the creation of an ideal of a wine that combines freshness, elegance, complexity and great aging potential.

The 2020 Vino Nobile di Montepulciano opens slowly in the glass as coaxing releases a bouquet of dusty rose and woodland berries lifted by a split pine note. It's fresh and vibrant for a young Boscarelli, cascading across the palate with masses of mineral-tinged red berries and savory spice. This finishes remarkably long yet with a bump of residual acidity that nicely offsets its dusty tannins. The 2020 is surprisingly approachable yet also balanced for a steady evolution.
