Winery Notes:
Aromas of blackberry and mocha on the nose. Concentrated, intense flavors of ripe boysenberry and blackberry with notes of fig fill the palate. Elegant, structured tannins add depth and dimension with a round, rich dark chocolate, dark berry finish. Enjoy with hearty stews, steaks on the grill, or fire-roasted vegetables.

Deep garnet-purple colored, the 2018 Cabernet Sauvignon Benchland Select gives up intense cassis, stewed plums and cedar chest notes with hints of licorice and wild sage. Medium to full-bodied in the mouth, the palate has a taut, grainy texture supporting the muscular black fruits, finishing long and mineral tinged.
James Suckling

Ripe blueberries, blackcurrants, blackberries, spearmint, cocoa and walnut on the nose. Full-bodied with firm, fine tannins. Supple, flavorful finish. Drink or hold.

Polished, fruit-driven style, with creamed plum and warm cassis notes coated in hints of black licorice. Finish is carried by fan-friendly, vanilla-accented toast flavor. Drink now through 2027. 2,359 cases made.
Wine Enthusiast

This wine is reductive, with underlying richness and powerful intensity. Sage, barrel and tar complement a lasting density of blackberry, coffee bean and tobacco.
