Winery Notes:
This wine is a stunner! Gorgeous blue and black fruit come through on the nose and palate. The tannins are elegant and refined, with an overall lushness to the wine that's undeniable. This wine is perfect to forget about in your cellar or open immediately – both decisions you won’t regret.

The 2020 Cabernet Sauvignon Alexander Valley is a saturated red with a ruby hue and has a forward, floral perfume of juicy mixed black and red fruit, candied violets, plums, and fresh herbs. Full-bodied and gushing with primary fruit up front, it has fine tannins and a supple, rounded mouthfeel, offering loads of blackberries and flowers before revealing slightly more earthy tones of mossy earth and tea leaf. Drink 2025-2040.

The 2020 Cabernet Sauvignon Alexander Valley was aged for 22 months in 75% new French oak. Deep ruby, it explodes with pure aromas of Morello cherries, blueberry, warm chocolate, cured meat and tobacco with youthful wafts of cardamom and vanilla. Full-bodied, plush and hedonistic, it has a velvety texture, generous yet classy oak spice, just enough freshness and a long, spicy finish. Latent, lush and squeaky clean at this stage, it's an age-worthy Cabernet, though I'd hedge my bets on the 2020s by drinking them on the earlier side. 741 cases were made.
