The 2014 Pinot Noir Muldune Trail comes from a vineyard at the southern end of the Anderson Valley planted at an elevation of 1,600 feet. Again unfined and unfiltered, this has a dense ruby/plum color that is more saturated than its two predecessors and notes of fresh herbs intermixed with wet gravel, blueberry, raspberry and pomegranate. It is medium-bodied, long, rich, and made from Dijon clones 115 and 777. This is a broad, savory, impressive Pinot Noir to drink over the next decade. $70 Our Price $65.99

Staglin Family Vineyard 2015 Chardonnay
Staglin's 2015 Chardonnay is tropical and oily, with all of the richness of the vintage front and center. Orange peel, crème brulée, honey, butter and apricot jam give the 2015 much of its oily, viscous personality. In recent years the move towards a more finessed style with larger format oak and blocked malolactic fermentation has resulted in a Chardonnay that is at once dense yet also tense, bright and nicely focused, especially for size. The 2015 saw about 50% large format 500 and 600 liter, thick-staved barrels. $75 (Arrives 5/10/17)

2013 Staglin Family Vineyard
Cabernet Sauvignon Estate
Both 2013 Cabernet Sauvignons are in bottle, and both are absolutely magnificent wines, probably the two finest Cabernets made by the Staglins to date. The 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon Rutherford (14.9% alcohol) has a stunning fragrance of lead pencil shavings, spring flowers (or is it violets?), sweet blackcurrant and black raspberry fruit, and a layered, opulent, rich and full-bodied mouthfeel. Add to that striking purity, equilibrium, and serious but finely grained tannins, and this is their finest Rutherford Estate Cabernet Sauvignon made to date. It has at least 30-40 years of life ahead of it. $250 (Arrives 5/10/17)

Points RIDGE Geyserville Sonoma County 2015
Sporting a deep mix of dark fruits that runs from cassis to blackberries along with complexing elements of cocoa and earthy spice, this year’s edition of the Ridge Geyserville evokes all the accustomed richness that we have come to expect. It is a well-extracted and eminently ageworthy offering whose tannic, youthfully tight structure warrants a wait, but its astringency is never out of bounds and its insistently fruity finish is the hallmark of a wine guaranteed to repay five or more years of keeping with great dividends. 70% Zinfandel; 15% Carignane; 12% Petite Sirah; 3% Alicante Bouschet. $40.00 Our Price $34.99
2014 Caymus Special Selection Cabernet

Fine, luxurious tannins give structure to intense flavors of supple cacao bean, chocolate and dark fruits. $180 Our Price $TBD
