2017 Hartford Court Pinot Noir
Russian River, Half Bottles
A crazy good value, the 2017 Russian River Pinot Noir is the appellation release from this team and it comes from all of the estate vineyards across Green Valley, Laguna Ridge and Sebastopol regions. Complex notes of strawberries, cranberries, violets, pine forest all flow to a medium bodied Pinot Noir that has a kiss of salinity and marine notes, ripe tannins and a great finish. This beautiful wine competes with wines costing 2-3 times the price. $18/375ml. Our Price $15.99/375ml
2016 Silver Oak Alexander Valley
Cabernet Sauvignon
Winemaker Notes: Our 2016 Alexander Valley Cabernet Sauvignon is ruby in color with a magenta rim. It has an enticing nose of cassis, blackberry, vanilla, sage and spearmint. Upon entry, this wine builds from potpourri and bramble to a bright pop of raspberry on the mid-palate. A juicy finish with chewy tannins and a medium length, it will provide drinking pleasure through 2042 with proper cellaring. $80 (Arrives 7/1/20)

2015 Fratelli Alessandria Barolo San Lorenzo di Verduno
Showing an immediately ripe and saturated quality of fruit, the 2015 Barolo San Lorenzo di Verduno is a child of the warm 2015 vintage. The bouquet leaves you no doubt. This wine offers a rich and exuberant approach with dark fruit nuances that cede slowly to spice, tar and black licorice. This Barolo shows depth and dark fruit, both in abundance. The quality of the tannins is still a bit rigid and less integrated at this young stage in the wine's life. You'll need to wait longer to truly enjoy these results. $80 Our Price $43.95 (Arrives 7/1/20)

Paul Bara Grand Cru Brut Reserve
Outer quote mark The NV Brut Réserve Grand Cru is a terrific introduction to the Bara house style. Citrus; almond, orchard fruit and floral notes abound in a Champagne of real personality and class. The texture and resonance of the Pinot that makes up most of the blend and the natural richness of Bouzy are felt mostly in the wine's weight and textural feel. There is plenty to like in this vinous, inviting Champagne from Bara. Disgorged: January 2018. Dosage is 7 grams per liter. $60 Our Price $46.99 (Arrives 7/2/20)

Egly-Ouriet Brut Grand Cru NV
With this release, based on the 2014 vintage and disgorged in June-July 2019, what was formerly Egly's Brut "Tradition" becomes simply his NV Brut Grand Cru, a simplification that paves the way for several new cuvées from this reference-point grower that I'll be reporting about in due course. Changes in nomenclature aside, the wine in the bottle has never been better, and the latest release soars from the glass with an expressive bouquet of golden orchard fruit, honeycomb, citrus zest and freshly baked bread. On the palate, it's full-bodied, deep and layered, with real concentration and intensity, built around racy acids and chalky dry extract. The finish is long and lingering. $107 Our Price $82.99
