2016 Shafer TD-9 Red

The 2016 TD-9 exudes raciness and total class, along with a bit better balance than the 2015 tasted along side it. In 2016, winemaker Elias Fernandez aged the components together, which, along with the natural pedigree of the vintage, goes a long way in shaping the wine's striking quality. A burst of red cherry, plum, lavender, rose petal and spice lead into the silky, super-polished finish. 58% Merlot, 26% Cabernet Sauvignon, 16% Malbec. $65

Winemaker Notes: Our 2016 Rosella's Pinot Noir opens with lush, woody edge and nuances of licorice over bright, dense red fruit. A Very pretty, perfumed nose of violet pastilles carries through to the palate where it is balanced with ripe berry, cola and hints of black tea and mushroom, all rounded out with a finish of sun-kissed leather. $60 (Arrives 9/26/18)

Winemaker Notes: Enticing aromas of vanilla, peach and mango are layered with apricots, crème brulee, butter and a slight minerality. Those scents are schoed as flavors on the creamy, rich palate, along with peach, pie crust and baking spices. The long smooth finish is marked by mouthwatering acidity. $760/9 Liter. 2014 Shafer Vineyards Cabernet Sauvignon Hillside Select

Very deep inky-purple colored, the 2014 Cabernet Sauvignon Hillside Select is incredibly intense and impactful on the nose, revealing notes of crushed black cherries, blackberries and fresh black currants with underlying notions of charcoal, sautéed herbs, black soil, chargrilled meat and pencil lead, plus a waft of violets.
