Winery Notes:
Intense ruby with purple hue. The nose is serious, deep and inviting, with intense cherry, sage, wet soil, cinnamon and raw chocolate aromas throughout. The palate showcases a persistent complexity that lingers on and remains focused. This secluded Mendocino Coast site never fails to bring about a wine of finessed structure and musky, mountainous, sensual appeal. With air, the aromas and flavors become even more detailed, the texture sweeter, giving a grand sense of the future.

The 2021 Pinot Noir Comptche Ridge is powerful and expressive, with pure scents of wild berries, lavender, Earl Grey tea leaves and complex undertones of aniseed and iodine. The medium-bodied palate is impressively concentrated, velvety and energetic, and it boasts a very long, highly perfumed finish.
