Subtle oak spices and mild herb accents are layered with crisp, tangy lemon, green apple and kiwi flavors in this lively, textural and almost tannic wine. Vivid acidity does most of the talking, lending a palate-cleansing, mouthwatering effect that's exciting.

The 2022 Sauvignon Blanc is ripe and tropical, with forward, sunny aromas of mango, fresh grapefruit, and rounded floral aromas. Medium-bodied, with driving energy and good concentration in its vibrant notes of pure lime citrus, fresh apple, and delicate spice, it’s a more serious style to hold another 6-12 months and drink 2024-2034.

The 2022 Sauvignon Blanc was barrel fermented and matured for six months in 38% new French oak. Flinty tones give way to kiwi and guava, fresh green herbs, white pepper, meringue and beeswax aromas. The medium-bodied palate balances expansive flavors with focused acidity, and a roundness to its texture lengthens the finish. It's a bit crunchier and brighter than is typical for this brand but still a pleasure to drink. 500 cases were made.
