Winery Notes:
Full and complex, this Cabernet based blend features characters of strawberry rhubarb, ripe black cherry and soft vanilla on the nose. Flavors of bright raspberry and blackberry jam are present on the palate, easing into the spice and toast of the French oak. The wine’s subtle oak and seamless structure are integrated with precision, making this red blend a beautiful wine to drink now or to cellar over the next fifteen years.

Checking in as a blend of 65% Cabernet Sauvignon, 15% Merlot, and the balance Malbec and Petit Verdot, the 2019 Red Blend Tartan is one heck of an impressive red blend, as well as a smoking value. Cassis, sappy herbs, chocolate, and spicy notes all give way to a round, medium to full-bodied, expansive beauty with remarkable purity and freshness. Drink it over the coming decade.

A fragrant nose of blackberries, blueberries. ripe cherries, wild flowers and dried herbs. Medium to full body with plush tannins. Round and velvety with a juicy core of purple fruit and flowers. Drink from 2023.
