Winery Notes:
The Barolo is vinified in stainless steel fermentation tanks with an internal rotary system and temperature control. Maceration normally lasts for 10-12 days. Malolactic fermentation occurs in oak where the Barolo is aged for a total of 22-24 months: 50% barriques and 50 % larger casks. After the blending, the Barolo spends another 8 months in stainless steel before bottling.

An elegant Barolo, offering floral, cherry, strawberry and wild herb flavors. This is backed by a lively structure, with refined tannins lining the long finish. Should be approachable soon. Best from 2025 through 2040. 290 cases made, 72 cases imported.

The 2018 Barolo Ravera shows the power and drive of this site nicely. It's a mid-weight wine, as the 2018s are, but there is also good complexity to be found in the savory, earthy flavors. I would give the 2018 a year or two to come together a bit more fully. This is a solid effort in this vintage.
