Winery Notes:
We source from some of the most prestigious sites in Paso Robles Estrella, El Pomar, Creston, Geneseo, and Adelaida Districts, including John Vineyards, Beato, Armory, Bootjack Ranch, Wilderness, and Lago Vineyards.
Maraschino cherry, confectioners’ sugar dusted red currants, mulberry compote, fresh bay leaf, cognac soaked ladyfingers, cedar box, warm terracotta tiles. Mouthwatering and savory. Fine grain and polished tannins coast to a silky, fresh, yet elegant finish.

I love this easy-to-drink 2021 Cabernet Sauvignon from McPrice Myers that well overdelivers for its price. Deep ruby-purple, it has alluring aromas of cassis, pencil shavings, dried herbs, leather and lavender, plus classy touches of oak spice. The full-bodied palate is concentrated and powerful without going over the top. It has abundant, grainy tannins, flinty streaks and plenty of refreshing acidity to carry the long finish. It's not your average chocolate bomb California Cabernet, despite its modest price tag. It should be easy to find, with 12,000 cases produced.

This partnership between Paso Robles powerhouse players McPrice Myers and Billy Grant begins with aromas of black plum extract, graphite, tobacco leaf and roasted meat on the lush, attractive nose. There's a firm edge to the palate, where charred wood and pencil shaving flavors meet with crushed black rocks, marjoram and more black plum flavors.
